Shark Bay celebrates Dutch arrival 400 years ago

More than 500 people came to Shark Bay (WA) to remember the day 400 years ago when Dirk Hartog left a pewter plate on the shores of West Australia to prove he was here. Elly Spillekom was moved by the sense of shared history.
