Although Lisa van der Wielen wasn't born in the Netherlands, she feels a strong connection with her Dutch roots. During the hardest period of her life - she had heart surgery and went through a divorce - the primary school teacher decided to do what she really wanted: to write a children's book. Lisa has now written eight children's books and her book Little Dune won the international Spark Award last year.
