Why has Fraser Island officially been renamed K'gari?

The world's largest sand island, located off the coast of Queensland, has officially been restored to its traditional name of K'gari. It comes after decades of campaigning from the Butchulla [[buht-cha-lah]] people to change it back from Fraser Island.
