After a long experience in the field of teaching Assyrian language in Iraq and Sweden, Mr. Moshe Dawod presented his experience summary in a doctoral thesis entitled” Designing an illustrative System for Teaching Assyrian Language inspired by the Assyrian civilization.” He obtained an honors degree at the Swedish Linnaeus University on August 20, 2020.
their mother language in countries of exile that makes it easier to reach and entrench the message in the minds of students. He added that we live in an era of image and form that has a great impact on the learner, at a rate of 75 - 80 percent. He stressed that our nation was the first to use image and form to record and archive all their achievements. So why not keep up with today's developments.
Dr. Moshe mentioned that for many years he has been working in this important field and has studied it deeply, and in the last four years he has focused on his doctoral thesis in the same specialty. He pointed out that the thesis was divided into two sides, the theoretical side and the practical side, in which he presented examples of paper and electronic curricula for teaching the Assyrian language to beginners and advanced students as well.
He concluded that he made his efforts to present what would benefit the community in the countries of exile, in learning their original language, and wished that other researchers would come and add new and deep experiences in this field.
