Our nation suffered violent oppression, which forced it's people to leave their lands, and nearly 80-90 percent of their land was lost. The reason for this was that it had no national security. what to do to address the issue?
The Assyrian thinker Hermiz Tiro said that the national security of any natio stands on the basis of land and man, and if one of them disappears, the other ends.
He added that our people suffered a lot and lost their lands in their home country in Hakkari, Urmi and Hasaka. In Iraq, the people lost hundreds of villages and lands in the past century.
He stressed that it is necessary to protect the rest of our people to stay on their lands, because it is the second basis on which national security should be built.
He mentioned that the security of our people was infiltrated by external parties who were able to confiscate the political decision of our political organizations such as the former Baath Party in Iraq, as it interfered with our clubs, church committees, etc.
There are parties outside our national home that have established within their organizations branches in the name of our people, such as the Kurdish and Communist parties, to also confiscate the decision of our people that should have been free.
"To solve the problem of national security, the parties, institutions and organizations of our people, as well as academics and intellectuals, should stand up to external interference in the affairs of our people," he said.
He added that the most important thing is for everyone to realize that personal security comes from national security and to work to address the issue of immigration and leave the land of ancestors.
