Melanoma is a form of cancer that develops in the skins pigment cells (melanocytes). Melanocytes produce melanin to help protect the skin from ultraviolet (UV) radiation i.e. sunlight. Dr Albert talks about the risk factors and specially the Ultra Violet index which is a crucial factor in causing skin cancer, also he discusses treatments options.
