Al-Kadhimi visited Erbil and Sulaymaniyah on the tenth of September and received a standing ovation, but the reactions differed between the components of the Iraqi people. Some of them welcomed it , others denounced it

Mr. Nassim Sadiq, our correspondent in northern Iraq, conveyed to us the echoes of this visit, some said that this visit is important, as Al-Kadhimi is working with practical steps to solve Iraq's problems in this transitional stage.

They think this visit will contribute to solving the outstanding problems between Baghdad and Erbil. Baghdad does not send the salaries of the employees in the region, and Erbil does not deliver the proceeds of oil sales to Baghdad in addition to other problems.

The other components in Iraq said that this visit was a disregard for the rights of minorities. The head of the Rafidain bloc in the regional parliament, MP Fareed Yacoub, wrote on his private page that Al-Kadhimi, like the heads of previous governments, ignored the rights of minorities.
