Who wrote the history of our nation and how we read it?

Source: Hermiz Tiro

The history of our nation has reached us by historians, and by relics left on stone. Usually the dominant side writes the history of the various events. But how do we read it? What benefits do we do we get from it?

Assyrian thinker Hermiz Tiro, says that there are two readings of history, the first is dialectical idealism and the second is materialist philosophy. If we look at how other nations read, we see that the Chinese see history as beginning with justice. The ancient Greeks, their history begins with gods, but the Romans, their history is about events.
Mr. Tiro added that the history of our nation is divided into two parts: a national history that ends with the fall of Nineveh and Babylon, and after that begins a Christian religious history, which was developed and spread to faraway regions. This history extends to the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries to begin a second national history.
Mr Hermis Tiro stressed that we must look at our history as one nation’s history and read it for the sake of our thought works to find that unity in the folds of history. This will lead us to another stage, which is the search for freedom.
Mr. Tiro concluded that we have to be aware of and benefit from history, to reach a new, comprehensive and unitary culture out of the names, and to march towards the inevitable unity.
