Australia's new High Commissioner in Malta will be Julienne Hince.
Replacing outgoing High Commissioner Jane Lambert, Ms Hince will also have non-resident accreditation to Tunisia.

In a statement, Foreign Minister Julie Bishop flagged the role will continue to work on a Australia-EU Free Trade Agreement with Malta and other EU members.
Ms Bishop says Australia and Malta enjoy close ties and the relationship is built on strong people-to-people links, a common parliamentary system and Commonwealth membership.
Her statement also says the two countries also share a strong commitment to the promotion of international peace, security and prosperity.
Ms Hince comes to the role with experience working in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
Her last post was as Director of DFAT's South American section and has previously been stationed in Poland, Mauritius, Athens and Bangladesh as well as holding the position of Deputy Director of DFAT's Victorian office.
Ms Bishop thanked the outgoing High Commissioner Jane Lambert for her significant contribution to advancing Australia’s interests in Malta since 2013.
