Tokyo Olympics has recyclable cardboard bed for athletes

The beds will be all recycled after use.

The Athletes Village general manager says the cardboard beds can hold 200 kilograms and that they are stronger than wooden ones.

While the bed frames will be turned into paper products afterwards, the mattress components will be recycled into plastic items.
