By working with experienced humanitarian partners like Philippine Red Cross, Australia it is providing sleeping, hygiene and emergency shelter kits for 1,000 of the most vulnerable families in Bicol.
In a Facebook post, the Consulate also sends their sympathies to disaster victims.

At least 20 people were killed when Super typhoon Goni barrelled across the Bicol and Southern Luzon regions of the Philippines on Sunday, November 1, the Office of Civil Defense Region V (Bicol) said on Monday.
Of the 20 fatalities, 14 were from Albay, and 6 were from Catanduanes.
