Caroline Springs, Victoria

Caroline Springs, 25 km west of Melbourne, was developed on a greenfield land. In an area less than 5 square km, it was created in 1999. It is in Melton City

Under the direction of  Vic Urban, has been developed by Delfin since 1999.  At the north of the suburb is the town square and main shopping center known as CS Square, and a man-made lake known as Lake Caroline.

One of the Melbourne's fast growing cities, Caroline Springs has  seen the rise of main hospitality and entertainment venues in this millennium.

A $40 Million 5 star hotel owned by the Mercure Hotels group opened in August 2009.  The modern hotel & entertainment complex named WestWaters on the edge of Lake Caroline, opened a few years ago. The Club Caroline Springs known for its international cuisine in tavern style is popular for live music and sports venue.

Politically, the small suburb is divide into two in the state division -- Kororoit, represented by Marlene Kairouz of the Labor Party and Sydenham, safely held by Labor's Natalie Hutchins. In the federal division, Caroline Springs falls under Gorton, currently held by Breandan O' Connor of  Labor Party.

Unfortunately, the  suburb's main form of transport is the  car. The long delayed single-platform station on the Ballarat line, between the existing Deer Park and Rockbank stations is expected to finish in 2017.
