Daylight saving time ends this Sunday

Those living in NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and ACT will be moving their clocks backward on April 3, Sunday. Clocks will turn back one hour at 3am. It means an extra hour of sleep over the weekend.

For those living in affected states, this means an extra hour sleep on Sunday.

You need not worry if you own smartphones and digital devices as these will adjust automatically to factor in the change in time. Analog clocks and watches will still need to be adjusted manually.

Queensland, Northern Territory, and Western Australia are not affected as they don’t observe daylight saving time.
