The National Multicultural Festival, one of the biggest cultural celebrations in Canberra’s event calendar, will be held at the Civic Centre this coming weekend, 7-9 February, for its 2025 edition.
The Philippine Embassy will have a booth at the ASEAN Village at Ainslie Place in Civic, stalls B9 and B10, on Saturday, 8 February, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The booth will showcase our country's top tourist spots and allow visitors to take photos and play fun games.
On the same day, the Fil ACT’s Filipino Choir will sing Original Pilipino Music (OPM) classics at North Glebe Stage at 10 a.m., while the ACTFA Dance Drama will perform the legend of Malakas at Maganda at Glebe Park Rotunda at 1 p.m. On Sunday, 9 Feb, the Filipino Language School of Canberra will perform Singkil, a traditional dance from the Maranao people of Lake Lanao, at the Akuna Street Stage at 10:45 a.m.
