Heavy rain continues to flood parts of Metro manila and nearby provinces on Saturday.

Flood-prone areas reported flood water reached almost five-feet high.
A village in San Mateo, Rizal remained flooded on Sunday morning as trash and debris mixed in the muddy water, Allan Gatus tweeted.

On Monday, Philippine’s weather service, PAGASA,has issued a Yellow Rainfall alert, warning residents of a possible heavy rain (7.5 mm to 15 mm/hour) in the next three hours over Metro manila and nearby provinces including Batangas, Cavite, Bulacan, Zambales and Bataan.

The southwest monsoon enhanced by Tropical Storm Yagi will continue to bring rain throughout the day, a PAGASA report says.

Residents in low-lying areas and river bank sections were also advised to take caution against possible flooding and landslides because of the downpour.

Tropical Storm Yagi was the Philippines' 11th tropical cyclone for 2018. The country usually gets an average of 20 tropical cyclones per year.
