Residents across the state could access more than 40 NSW Government rebates and savings through the Cost of Living service.
Minister for Finance, Services and Property Victor Dominello said in a press conference that the NSW government’s intiative takes Service NSW to the next level allowing residents to access the service online, or at various Service Centres across NSW.
Families can avail of the energy rebate for the cost of their energy bills and get access to early childhood education. The new funding will significantly reduce preschool fees, making 600 hours of early childhood education more affordable for all families.
Vehicle owners can save on the cost of CTP Green Slips in the compulsory third party (CTP) insurance scheme, while eligible pensioners don’t have to pay registration fees or motor vehicle tax.

The service also provides free vehicle registration for regular toll users and $100 voucher from Active Kids to use on children’s sport, fitness and recreation.
Eligible seniors can also apply for the NSW Seniors Card and enjoy discounts from major partners, including Woolworths, Vodafone and Insure and Go.
“Customers can access the Cost of Living service by contacting Service NSW with the option of using an interpreter through the National Translating and Interpreting Service on 131 450 and be directed to Service NSW on 13 77 88,” Minister for Multiculturalism Ray Williams said in a statement.
