Snack food recalled from grocery stores due to risk of microbial growth

NSW Food Authority has issued a warning on Tuesday morning that importer/distributor DHN Trading is conducting a recall of Pandan Cake sold at grocery stores.

The food distributor has issued a recall of the said snack item due to risk of microbial growth.
The recalled snack item, Regent Pandan Cake (20g) is sold in packs of 10 and has an expiry date of 27 Nov 2021.

Authorities warned consumption of the recalled food product that has microbial growth may cause illness.

Customers who have purchased the product are advised to return the products to the place they bought them, for a full refund.

The snack food is sold at independent grocery stores in NSW, QLD, VIC, TAS, SA, NT.
