Anxiety becomes Australia's most common mental health issue

But, chronic anxiety is actually twice as prevalent, with an estimated two million Australians suffering from that condition.

Mental health organisation "Beyond Blue" polled 14,000 people for the survey and is releasing the results for national Mental Health Week (8-14 October).
