Every year, the Filipino community in Victoria holds the Filipino-Australian Australia Day.
In an interview with SBS Filipino, Roxanne Sarthou, the General Manager of the Filipino Community Council of Victoria Inc. (FCCVI), described the annual gathering as a way to share Filipino culture with various multicultural communities in Australia.
"This is an opportunity for Filipinos to be together, meet, and have a joyful time," Sarthou said.

"There are sensitivities in celebrating Australia Day, but for us Filipinos, we take it as an opportunity to showcase our unique Filipino heritage and come together as a community."
This year, the Filipino-Australian Australia Day will be filled with Filipino traditions in food, music, and performances from various groups.
The celebration will take place at the Filipino Hub U10 463A Somerville Road, Brooklyn 3012 Vic, starting at 09:00 AM.
