According to new research from News Corp Australia, most Australians want to buy locally made products, but many remain confused about labelling, lack information, and are unsure if local goods are affordable.

  • Seventy per cent (70%) of shoppers say they prefer Australian-made products, yet four in ten (40%) admit they do not know how to identify them.
  • More than half (56%) of consumers, especially Gen Z and Millennials, are prepared to spend extra to support local businesses.
