Eight heroes honoured with bravery medals on second anniversary of Bondi Junction stabbing

Australia officially recognises eight individuals for their extraordinary courage during the 2024 Westfield Bondi Junction tragedy.

Governor-General Sam Mostyn announced the Special Australian Bravery Decorations to mark two years since the attack.
Posthumous honours were awarded to Ashlee Good and Faraz Tahir for their ultimate sacrifice in protecting others.
The list includes "Bollard Man" Damien Guerot and Inspector Amy Scott, who neutralised the attacker.
