Fil-Aus groups initiate Christmas 'bayanihan' projects for Filipino communities in need

Some Filipino groups based in Australia launched Christmas projects to help and provide joy to the community.


Highlights
  • The Philippines Australia Sports and Culture Incorporated gathered in Sydney for a Christmas concert and dinner dubbed "Pasko Na Naman".
  • Proceeds went through "Ayuda sa Kapwa", providing 110 food packs for Filipino-Australian senior citizens in Sydney.
  • A Mangyan tribe in Oriental Mindoro enjoyed a Christmas party which had a program, games and food packs.
  • Feeding programs were held at Laguna, Quezon Province and Camotes Islands. School supplies and food packs were handed out as well.
