Filipina working in Melbourne Airport charged with falsifying identification and fraud offences

A 26-year-old Filipino national is facing court today for allegedly creating and using fake identification documents while working at Melbourne Airport.

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) and Australian Border Force (ABF) launched an investigation in May 2025 after the worker allegedly falsified an Aviation Security Identification Card.
The accused faces multiple fraud-related charges, with a maximum penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
Authorities remind the public to report suspicious activities under the “See it. Hear it. Report it.” campaign.
