Filipinos are starting to feel the Christmas rush as Victorians gear up for the easing of restrictions and reopening of some businesses by 26 October.


Highlights

  • Filipino-Australians in Victoria welcome the news of having a proper normal Christmas from the state's roadmap out of lockdown
  • Victorians will be able to leave home without restrictions, no curfew and the travel limit increased to 25km when 70 per cent of eligible population get vaccinated
  • After 80 per cent is reached, hairdressers and hospitality will reopen for seated service , Victorians can travel interstate and have 30 visitors for home gatherings
