It was the sixties and the family knew no one, so they moved to Sydney's inner West -- a place where multiculturalism was alive and well.
Almost 50 years on, Mr Kaldas says cultural diversity is no longer confined to particular neighbourhoods, rather it defines the Australia we know today.
