Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has claimed victory in the federal election, on track to surpass the 76 seats required to form a majority government.

Labor has won the 2025 Federal Election, with big swings against the coalition across the country.
Peter Dutton has lost his seat of Dickson to Labor's Ali France.
Albanese is the first Australian prime minister to win a second consecutive term in 21 years.
