International student Jeica Dimatatac is spending Christmas in Australia while her child is in the Philippines making the season even harder now that she is a mother.

She continues to pursue her dreams in Australia while her visa application is still in process.
Aside from studying, she performs as a singer at gigs around Sydney.
With her family in the Philippines caring for her baby, Jeica holds on to the hope that one day she will be able to experience a traditional Filipino Christmas with her child by her side.
