With the hopes to eventually bring a musical adaptation of Philippines' greatest novel Noli Me Tangere (Touch Me Not) in Australia, the second reading of the novel is being held in Sydney this weekend. Image: The cast of the first reading of the Noli Me Tangere (McFadden Music)

After the first semi-staged reading held in March, award-winning Australian playwright Peter Fleming together with long-time collaborator, composer Allan McFadden who laid music and lyrics for the play, are back along with several Filipino-Australian actors, for a two-act show of the Noli musical.

Fleming shares where he aims to go with this musical of Dr. Jose Rizal's greatest novel.
