John Dela Cruz, better known as Nurse John, hails from Bulacan and Montreal, Canada, and has been based in the US since 2024 to pursue a career in comedy. Before stepping into the spotlight, he worked for many years as a nurse and most recently as a nursing clinical instructor.
With over 12 million followers on TikTok and Instagram, he first rose to fame during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He credits much of his journey to the influence of his mother, an OFW, and to his grandparents who lovingly raised him in the Philippines for many years.
