Key Points
Pandemic leave disaster payments were due to cease at the end of the month, and the cost will continue to be split 50/50 with the Commonwealth.
An additional limit will be put in place on the payments, to stop people taking advantage of the system.
The payment now sits at a maximum of $540 for five days of isolation.
