Participating in 2016 Clean-Up Australia Day

They have been doing it every year for nearly ten years now. The Filipino organisation, Filipino-Australian Movement for Empowerment (FAME), has been participating in the annual Clean-up Australia Day, held every first Sunday of March. While still at their designated site, Rizal Park, Rooty Hill, Rod Dingle of FAME talks to SBS Filipino over the phone about their participation

 

According to wikipedia, In 2015, an estimated 536,423 volunteers removed 15,915 tonnes of rubbish at 7,232 sites across the country.
