  • Energy Secretary Sharon Garin noted that stability in the Middle East remains uncertain following the destruction of several oil facilities in the region. In response, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced that the government will take advantage of a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran to aggressively build up the nation’s oil reserves.
