Large part of South and Central Queensland have been put on high alert due to torrential rain and flash flooding


Torrential rainfall has triggered flash flooding and inundated roads and properties around parts of Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast.

Six people were rescued from floodwaters yesterday as the State Emergency Service received 320 calls for help.

Heavy rainfall is forecast to continue until Wednesday.
