Data from Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reveals there are more than 34 million Filipinos who are 'single'.
Highlights
- Respondents to the survey were from 30 years and older
- Highest rates of 'single' Filipinos in 2015 were located in Eastern Visayas, CARAGA and MIMAROPA
- The survey results did not include “single” who are “in a relationship,” in a “long distance relationship,” and “complicated” relationship.
Around 56.7% of the Filipino population is composed of 'single' men while around 43.3% of women remain single.
