The Quinal siblings have not only embraced Australia as their home but have also held onto the cherished memories of Filipino Christmas.

The Quinal siblings hold dear memories of Filipino Christmas in their hearts and they plan to pass this legacy to their future children.

Francis, Dorothy, and Josh Quinal, maintain a deep connection to their roots and share a strong commitment to passing on cherished Filipino traditions, particularly the enduring bonds within the family.

"I think the biggest thing is closeness with family, being open and not feeling shy or embarrassed about being close to your family."

They are equally dedicated to upholding the cultural practice of rice consumption, recognising its indispensable role as a fundamental aspect that enhances their cultural identity.

"I will teach them to love rice. I can't live without rice."

In addition to their commitment to rice, the Quinals prioritise passing on Christian Catholic values. This includes attending church, especially on Christmas Eve, which is an integral part in preserving their rich cultural heritage.
