There is no excuse for Elder Abuse

Our rights do not diminish with age. Rates of elder abuse are underreported but a recent study by the Australian Institute of Family Studies estimates up to 14 percent of older people in Australia are affected. Seniors Rights Victoria's Jenny Balkey explains that it is important to understand our rights as older members of the community and to remember that there are services that can help 15 June is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day
