In Victoria, trains, trams, and buses will be free for everyone from Tuesday, March 31, throughout April as temporary support for everyday expenses in the state.

Inanunsiyo ng Victorian Government o pamahalaan ng Victoria na magiging libre ang pampublikong transportasyon sa buong estado sa buong buwan ng Abril upang makatulong sa pagdagdag ng gastusin ng mga mamamayan, mula po sa ulat ng ABC, itinatayang aabot sa 70 million dollar ang halaga ng hakbang na ito.

Ipinatupad po ito habang patuloy na tumataas ang presyo ng gasolina dahil nga sa mga problema sa supply sa Middle East na nagdudulot din ng pagtaas ng presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin. Lahat po ng pampublikong transportasyon sa Metropolitan at VLine ay magiging libre sa Victoria mula Martes, ika-31 ng Marso o March 31 hanggang Abril 30 o April 30.

Ayon po kay Premier Jacinta Allan, pansamantala lamang ang hakbang na ito para makatulong sa gastusin sa araw-araw at makapagbigay agad ng ginhawa habang naghahanap pa ang gobyerno ng pang mas matagalang solusyon.
