The year 2020 has been a very busy year for volunteers from droughts to bushfire season and COVID-19 pandemic.
18-24 May is National Volunteer Week
- There are 5.8 million volunteers in Australia
- There are more than 200,000 emergency services volunteers
- During the cOVID-19 pandemic volunteers continue to work in the frontline helping with packing and delivery of food, assisting with the elderly and supporting families in need.
