Who are the COVID-19 'long-haulers' and what is happening to them?

To date almost 25,000 Australians have recovered from COVID-19, but some say it hasn't left them completely.


Highlights
  • The most common of these are difficulty concentrating, low mood and fatigue
  • These symptoms are similar to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  • It will be four to five years before we understand the full extent of long term COVID-19 symptoms.
The group experiencing these symptoms are called "long-haulers".
