Key Points

Fr. Jun Perez, SVD, a missionary and Justice, Peace & Integrity of Creation Coordinator, was deeply moved by the collection. For him, the exhibit carried a spiritual and social message.

The exhibit drew a crowd of Filipino community leaders, Blacktown MP Stephen Bali, Consul General Charmaine Rowena Aviquivil, and representatives from various consulates.

Through his art, Coloma has met many people who became friends and inspirations. One of them is William Kaddissi from the State Emergency Service, whose portrait is in the exhibit. Another is Jessica, who admires how Coloma captures both emotion and the story behind each subject.
