Ang pagkakaibigan ng Pilipinas at Australia ay ipinagdiriwang ngayong Mayo. Naipamalas na rin sa maraming paraan, at ramdam ng ordinaryong Filipino tulad ng mga naninirahan sa Hospicio de San Jose.

The Australian Government supported the kitchen renovation of Hospicio de San Jose. The renovation not only provided better ventilation it also provided better working conditions for the kitchen staff. The renovation took place in 2021-2022.
