May mga pagbabago sa family visa program upang hindi na kailanganing lumabas sa bansa ng mga nag-aaply. Ang pagbabago ay kasunod ng ilang buwang pagkakampanya na mabago ang mga batas sa panahon ng pandemya.


Ani  Federal Labor MP Julian Hill, dahil sa susunod na taon pa ito ipapatupad, malabo ang pasko ng maraming mga magkapamilya.

"Well, sometime early next year, I’ll make these changes. Some time. There's no details no clarity of who will be covered. There's no sense of exactly when this will happen, and so it still means that there are thousands of Australian couples here, right now, in Australia, facing an uncertain Christmas. ”
