Binisita ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang lalawigan ng Cebu na tinamaan ng magnitude 6.9 na lindol at ipinagkaloob ng national government ang higit 200 milyong pisong tulong pinansiyal angsa pagbangon ng Cebu.

  • Sa kabuaang halaga, 50 milyong piso para sa Cebu City at tig-20 milyong piso sa mga siyudad at munisipalidad ng Bogo, San Remegio at Sogod.
  • Paubos na aniya ang quick response fund ng mga ahensiya ng gobyerno dahil nagamit sa mga nagdaang bagyong nando, opong at mirasol.
  • Iimbestigahan ngayon ng binuong Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) at ng Department of Justice, si Senador Mark Villar na dating namuno sa Department of Public Works and Highways o DPWH.
  • Nagkasundo sina Vice President Sara Duterte at Ambassador Marc Innes-Brown na magtulungan para lalong patatagin ang kooperasyon ng Pilipinas at Australia, partikular sa larangan ng depensa, edukasyon at development.
  • Sa larangan ng depensa at maritime law, nakumpleto ng Coast Guard Officers ang Law of the Sea Course, sa pakikipagtulungan sa University of Wollongong sa Australia.
