Nagsagawa ng isang seminar ang Philippine Australian Association of the ACT and Monaro sa Canberra upang basagin ang stigma at talakayin ang kahalagahan ng sexual health.

Key Points

A lot of these sexually transmitted diseases may not have any symptoms. You will only know if you have tested. And we have to destigmatise these issues... It's all part of taking care of yourself.
Marlene Tucker, Philippine Australian Association of the ACT and Monaro President
Medical experts Dr Ming Lee and Dr Luke Cannon addressed key topics including STI prevention, contraception, and debunking common health myths.

It's so hard because I think it's something to do with the way how we're raised... being religious, it's never been spoken on the table where we're as a family... It's just kind of the cultural norm... but it's important, because it's all about well-being.
Erico Nidea-Soliman, Philippine Australian Association of the ACT and Monaro
