The new music museum will also receive state finance, and music personalities such as Katri Helena and Jean Sibelius will be inducted into its Hall of Fame.
The Turku book festival is very successful with more than 700 literary figures making an appearance.
The most popular stars were naturaly the top selling authors. First place for  Finnish fiction went to Tommi Kinnunen for his book 'Piltti'. Even if successful, authors' annual income can be as low as €11,000 so Kinnunen does not intend to leave his day job.
The annual herring  market took place in Helsinki, Timo walked around, enjoying the atmosphere, taking photographs and had a delicious serving salmin soup at one of the tent restaurants...
