Executive Director of the Human Rights Law Centre, Hugh de Krester says it's vital the community continues to put pressure on the government to uphold human rights.


The ability of the community to put pressure on government to instil change is something that also Independent Kerryn Phelps  says she's proud  to contribute to while in Parliament for less than a year, such as helping get asylum seeker children removed from detention on Nauru.
