Australian health authorities will be using the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine despite concerns in Europe which have seen some countries suspend their rollouts.


There have been reports of extremely rare cases of people developing blood clots after vaccination. There is no evidence linking the clots to the vaccine. The majority of Australians will eventually be receiving two doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine.
