Charities pen open letter to governments

A coalition of Australia's leading charities have penned an open letter to governments across Australia. As the nation tries to move on from the coronavirus pandemic, they're providing recommendations on how to help with the charitable sector.

The economic situation caused by the pandemic means charities aren't getting all of their usual donations. Unfortunately, donations are winding down at a time when more people are requiring their services. The open letter lists several measures that charities believe need to be addressed in all jurisdictions, to ensure charities can continue to serve the community and provide much-needed services.
