Climate change will be top of President-elect Biden's world agenda

Australia is being warned to do more on climate change or risk being an international outlier with the new US administration. As Joe Biden prepares for his inauguration, he has already put on notice some countries lagging behind on climate action.

One of the first tasks Joe Biden wants to address when he officially becomes the new United States president, is tackle climate change.   He'll immediately rejoin the Paris climate agreement and sign a series of executive orders to put the United States on track to achieve a 100 per cent ‘clean energy economy’.  Climate change will become part of the Biden administration's foreign policy.
