COVID vaccine rollout to disabled people condemned as 'abject failure'

Thousands of people with a disability across the country say they feel forgotten in the vaccine rollout, despite being in a priority group. They were entitled to be vaccinated at the beginning of the program as they were in group 1A

The most up to date figures show less than 1000 people with a disability in residential care have been vaccinated so far.  And of those, only 127 are believed to have had their second shot. If they had been vaccinated at the beginning of the rollout in Phase 1A, it would have alleviated a lot of anxiety.
